mercado prestando los servicios de Ingenier\u00eda y Administraci\u00f3n de Proyectos El\u00e9ctricos y Civiles a entidades p\u00fablicas y privadas, atendiendo inicialmente clientes como la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Valle, Alcald\u00edas Municipales y empresas prestadoras de servicios p\u00fablicos domiciliarios como <strong>EMCALI<\/strong> y <strong>CVC<\/strong> (hoy <strong>CELSIA COLOMBIA SA ESP<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>En 1996, <strong>MICOL<\/strong> se acoge al proceso de administraci\u00f3n de calidad, siguiendo la Norma ISO 9004-2:1994. Es as\u00ed como en 1999, obtiene el perfil de calidad por intermedio del CIDET, alcanzando una calificaci\u00f3n de 95.6%, la m\u00e1s alta en Colombia entre las empresas del sector.<\/p>\n<p>Durante este mismo a\u00f1o la empresa adopta una estrategia de crecimiento enfocada en la b\u00fasqueda de nuevos mercados a nivel nacional, lo que le permite participar y prestar servicios en empresas como la <strong>ELECTRIFICADORA DEL QUIND\u00cdO EDEQ<\/strong>, la <strong>ELECTRIFICADORA DEL TOLIMA ELECTROLIMA<\/strong>, y multinacionales como <strong>ENDESA<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de <strong>CODENSA<\/strong>, y <strong>FENOSA<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de <strong>ELECTROCOSTA<\/strong> y <strong>ELECTRICARIBE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el proceso de expansi\u00f3n y crecimiento, la empresa ha desarrollado alianzas estrat\u00e9gicas de asociaci\u00f3n con empresas del sector, mediante la presentaci\u00f3n de licitaciones y desarrollo de proyectos. En el a\u00f1o 2007 la empresa decide certificarse en la norma <strong>NTC OHSAS 18001:2007<\/strong> y en a\u00f1o 2009, se certific\u00f3 el sistema de gesti\u00f3n ambiental bajo la norma <strong>ISO 14001:2004<\/strong> y se recertifico en <strong>ISO 9001:2008<\/strong>. Como muestra del mejoramiento continuo <strong>MICOL S.A<\/strong>., ha venido recertificando sus Sistemas de Gesti\u00f3n y en el a\u00f1o 2011 logra obtener el logo de Responsabilidad Social por intermedio del programa Comprometerse. Posteriormente en el mes de Julio del a\u00f1o 2018, se obtiene la recertificaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Gesti\u00f3n de Calidad bajo la norma ISO 9001:2015 y del Sistema de Gesti\u00f3n Ambiental ISO 14001:2015 y en el a\u00f1o 2019, se obtiene la recertificaci\u00f3n de la norma <strong>NTC OHSAS 18001:2007<\/strong>, todas las anteriores certificaciones se obtuvieron por medio de Bureau Veritas. Cabe resaltar, que en el a\u00f1o 2021, se espera obtener la certificaci\u00f3n de la norma ISO 45001:2018, para cumplir as\u00ed con todos los requisitos vigentes para el sistema de gesti\u00f3n
